Usually i can figure things out on google, but I cannot get the diameter matched to the size of the ring.

I need the first Rod Guide on this 9 ft rod.

Before it broke, i am guessing that it was anywhere from 1.7 inches to 2.2 inches.

anyone know what size guide that is? or do you have a suggestion on what size to replace it?

Details.
20 lb braid used
will throw 4 oz weight at most
surf cast rod

Also, thanks in advance!

Measure it with a ruler. What's so hard about that?

1" = 25.4 mm so you would need a rod guide from 43 to 56mm

ummmm, okay, the reason i am asking the question, is that it is gone....destroyed.

I wouldn't be asking the question if i could just bring it in and get a new one. I didn't know that you wouldn't get that by saying that I am guessing it is 1.7 to 2.2 in combo with a new line, 20lb braid......get it?

Anyone other than "Chedballz" have an idea on what size rod guide is needed for this? size 40? or 50?

eta, spinning reel

You could call MudHole Tackle Crafting & Rod Building..... LINK

Largest rod building component company in USA....even if you don't buy one from them they should be able to help you determine what you need.
