Sounds similar to my situation when I bought my first pistol. A friend suggested calling Phil at Peerless arms in Gonzales. He does it on the side and just loves helping people and talking about guns. I think he usually keeps Glocks in stock and can order just about anything. I got a Glock 43 about 10% lower than box store prices.

Yeah I didn't even know he had one until I pulled out the business card earlier. Mostly word of mouth and repeat customers I'd assume.
