true, I dotn know what he plans to run off of the switches, but in most cases, the way I described would be just fine. Most boats are wired that way from the factory. The individual fuses would be needed if you have large loads on each switch.

Here is an example of daisy chain I was referring to.

I just saw that pumps were mentioned so I would probably isolate those.

I missed that. If a bilge is going to be on there I agree with you, but I wouldn't put a bilge on those switches. A bilge would need a 3 position switch rather than a two. It would need to be ran separate and "should" be on an auto float with a switched manual override.
