This pops up regularly during the warmer months, never when it is cold. I’ve looked at Google but the suggestions are all over the places. Any of y’all run into this before? What was the fix?
Autozone diagnostic says something about a steering wheel alignment issue.
It’s really intermittent and temperature dependent.

I had the same issues you're describing on a 2011 Sierra. The axle boots were dry-rotted and the front bearings were shot.

It does make clunking sounds on occasion

Funny, I got the same issue on my 2012 Sierra during the last arctic blast. It went away after it warmed up and hasn’t come back.

Have had the issue twice on my 2012. Brought to a shop and had them read the error codes. Both times was the rear wheel speed sensor. First the right then the left about a year later. They are about 80.00 at AutoZone and simple to change.

Usually a wheel speed sensor will cause more than one DTC, stabil trac, traction control, and antilock brake will indicate a WSS

That’s what I was thinking. The ABS light doesn’t come on.

GM went to shite after the bailout.
Those 09-13 Silverado and Tahoes are the shitties vehicles GM ever made.
They completely ruined the brand to me and my family, used to be Chevy for everyone and now it's all Toyota.
Didn't help they moved the GM plant away from shreveport to over seas, took a massive government bailout and then made shitty vehicles.
Best thing I ever did was get rid of my '11 shite box Chevy

The few years after the great recession were not good years for cars especially GM. You had parts manu's going bankrupt left and right or getting swallowed up by conglomerates. Things got better around '13 but imo, we still see negative effects from the GR.

Agree, thats when the Silverado went to crap.
The ‘99-‘07 classic was a solid truck IMO. I own three with a combined 790,000 miles.

I had the same problem with my 2008 GMC. it would shift real hard. had the same traction control light.it drove me nuts.it was bad plugs or wires. changed them and was like new. drove the truck for at least 2 years like that. i never wouldve believed it. worked for me. still doesnt make sense to me but it worked. one plug was real bad

this is going to sound weird, but there is a sensor in your steering wheel column that cause it....no one could diagnose it but i found similar googling the issue....made the guys at the shop change it and haven't had issue since

I had the same issue on my 2011. Mine ended up being a misfire on number one cylinder. Which would kick a code for stabilitrak and traction control.

Check the ground straps to the frame also. Saw a YT that had a Chevy truck doing weird stuff.

You must begin with having the computer(s) - anti-lock and powertrain -checked and get the code(s) and see which code(s) correspond with the indicators on your instrument panel.

What code(s) are displayed? It will be clearly printed on Zones diagnostic sheet they gave you.

Also check to make sure your brake fluid is within the proper reservoir levels. Mine got low and caused these alarms to come in.

That was it. Steering wheel position sensor. It wasn’t a terribly difficult job. However, even though I taped the F out of my steering wheel, it now cocks to the left about a quarter inch, and really irritates me.

I have a 2015 Silverado that the left rear turn bulb keeps "going out" but there is nothing wrong with the bulb...
I think it's something with the wiring harness in the steering column.
or maybe the plug...or maybe something with the trailer wire harness...
or...hell I don't know...
