Better than no water but distilled water is suppose to be better.

My dad had a skeeter like that when I was a lad. Lots of good trips in that thing. It was black w the red flakes.

I've got mechanics who will do the work for a case of beer and an afternoon of bullshitting...

Fight the urge to put too much crap on a boat and it is fairly inexpensive.

This boat has been in a shed for 4+ years.

Just use it often enough to make the annual maintenance worthwhile. I read all these boat owner horror stories on the net and figure it's mainly folks not ready for boat ownership. No different from a car, just use it enough to justify the maintenance costs.
