Mushroom identification

I’m guessing it’s some sort of mushroom or fungus. Never seen one that looked like this.

When I did a search, that showed up but all the pictures were showing them growing on a tree, this was growing from the ground in front of my cousins cabin at deer camp.

I downloaded a free app recently that after taking 3 pics of the mushroom the app tells you what it is and all about it. Picture Mushroom is what I use.
