What’d you decide on, OP?

I’m eyeing a used Riptide Terrova 36v right now. I’ll prob pull the trigger if it’s as good as it looks in pics.

Have the auto deploy and yes it’s a game changer with my crew of kids for sure. I did BREAK it the first trip out by boat crashing down and motor hitting sand. Just the deploy broke but I used it for 2 more days. Fixed by following weekend. I love it so far.

Russell’s marine quoted me $1960 for the Terrova 112# 36v 60” shipped to front doe. Along with 6 months internet free, I’ll prob jump on it. Local places said they couldn’t come close to matching that.

Y’all have the quick release? Recommend it?

Quick release is the little foot pedal release on the mount? If so absolutely yes. I have it and it's awesome.

Lowrance is supposedly coming out with their own new trolling motor with spotlock. You could wait a little bit and read the reviews on it.

Ohhhhh

No experience with that. One thing about these trolling motors though is they have to hang way out off the bow because of how they deploy. One of those sliding mounts is a necessity if you're friends are prone to smashing up shite.
