0Coolest looking moth I’ve seen - sort of a whale tail thing going on. Anyone know what kind of moth this is?

on 11/26/20 at 9:38 pm to lsufan112001Had the opportunity to do this one night with a handful of people including Doug Tallamy. Pretty cool experience to be with someone that can identify pretty much anything, tell you the host plants, etc.

If you have oak trees in your yard, they’re good host trees, and you’ll get moths regularly.
