We got 8 this past weekend in Miss. around Coila area, just North of Lexington.

8?! wow! well we've got 4 peope hunting 600 acres and have 0 this year! hope that changes this weekend though

7 of us hunting 600 acres in Walthall Co Mississippi. 2 Does shot so far. Seeing plenty of does and spikes. Bigger bucks should be on the move soon

I'm in Poplarville as well. Haven't been able to make too many hunts but have seen some does and young bucks. Trying to get my first bow kill this year

Chickman I saw you posted about black bears in that other thread. We have them in Poplarville. We have pics and videos from or camera of one for the past few years. Game warden told me that there's a momma bear and two cubs too

I'm on the other side of 59 and Poplarville on Stanford lake road. It's my dad's 175 acres that only we hunt. We never get pics of him during the winter. Most are in late spring or summer. He hasn't caused any damage to us or really anyone else from what I hear. He did tear a piece of wood off a trailer full of corn on the cob, but other than that he's just eats everyone's blueberries
