Ive a MK Terrova with advanced gps(no sonar) and a Garmin Echomap UHD2 93sv fishfinder. Is there a way to network the terrova to my garmin unit so that when I mark way points the terrova will then take me to that waypoint?

I know MK works with Humminbird. but not wanting to buy a Humminbird Helix just for marking and going to waypoints.

I have a Garmin Livescope as well. This is just a family fishing rig for me, the wife, and son.

I doubt it. I have the exact same setup on my boat. My MK Powerdrive crapped out on me this year so I upgraded to the terrova. Mainly for spot lock. I didn’t realize it wasn’t compatible with my Garmin. So 2 adapters later, I have water temp and depth, but basically nothing else.
You should be able to mark spots with your MK remote, however.

Not that I know of.

I just do it like the Indians did it, find the waypoint on my chart plotter and mash the anchor button when I get over it.

Its pretty amazing when it's all linked up, but takes some setup time and really learning how to use it efficiently. Troll motor, GPS units and talon all linked up. Being able to have the troller follow a contour line on a map or trace a precious track is nice.
