The only reason for plain black is I umpire girls softball which requires an all black hat with no giant logos. It's also the cap color needed to wear coaching my daughter's travel team so there was reasoning behind it. Carry on

I just ordered two black stetson felt hats. One to wear duck hunting and one to wear to weddings/funerals
