Mapping Coordinates

I could use some help converting x,y mapping coordinates to the lat, long category. I failed with some converter tools.
X = 2,656,995.28
Y = 629,719.18

I was provided with a plat with those numbers represented a calculated corner of a parcel of property. I do not understand what you need.

If you could post a picture of the plat, or at least the title block, the information needed to convert them for you could probably be determined.
Or if you could answer a few questions: is it a survey plat, where general area is the property, when was the map produced?

OK that helps, it's probably Louisiana State Plane NAD83. A date of the plat would help.

Those are either Louisiana South or North US Survey Feet. Depends where located.
