as a senior lifetime hunt/fish do I need to get a HIP certificate?...

I’m pretty sure you have to have the HIP if you plan to hunt migratory birds. It’s easy to fill out and free wether you have a lifetime or not.

I have a lifetime LA combo license and do the HIP every year.

thanks...I haven't been able to hunt for a few years due to some injuries so I've never had one...

You need a federal duck stamp and HIP despite age

You can fill out the HIP when you get your duck stamp online and if you linked your LDWF account in LA Wallet it will automatically show up.
