The OB EM are in the early stages if planning a trip to Leesville or GI. There will be mucho partying. And by partying I mean beer drinking.

What is the basic essential gear one needs for marsh fishing in a yak other than a paddle and a PFD?

Anchor trolley if it doesn't have one. Plenty of how-to videos online and cheap to do.

The stuff I bring includes:
PFD
Paddle
Whistle attached to PFD (not sure if necessary)
Dry bag(phone,camera,sunscreen,wallet,keys,etc.)
And anything past that is extra
I also have a milk crate on the back for all my tackle and shite and a small soft ice chest filled with drinks and a larger one for fish.
I also have some maps stowed in the storage

For the OB elite yak trip, can I ride bitch on your yak if I don't have mine yet?

This has been one of the more fulfilling parts of fatherhood for me....seeing little DC catching quality fish and being excited about going on trips. Headed out tomorrow with my dad and my son. Striped bass are running hard in the delta right now so we're hoping for tight lines.
