Better buy the bow before the wedding or she'll put her foot down or think since you get something she gets something!

If I play my cards right I'll be able to buy both in about a month. Gotta get all my fun stuff bought before student loans start coming due in December. Been working like a fool since I graduated in may. Finally got a god bit of stuff paid off and bought me a yak last month.

I miss college but having money is the shite.

I shoot the cheapest Bear. Have some friend who are die hard Mathews guys and they were all given chances to try the new bow by Bear and love it.

Archery and bowhunting arent for everyone. I'd buy used if for no other reason than bows are the very definition of a depreciating asset.

You can buy a delicately used bow made only a few years ago for less than half the original price.

I've had Bowtech bow for the last four years and wouldn't trade it for anything right now. Matthews ofcourse makes a good bow. you just need to shoot them A LOT before buying one. It also depends on what kind of hunting you're doing. I've been bow hunting deer since I was 12 so twenty years now and have PSE, Matthews and Bowtech. It's all about feel. Like buying a new putter if you play golf.

If you dont want to spend an arm and a leg I reccomend finding someone who shoots in archery tournaments and buying a used now from them. I have a friend who shoots in the ASA and I've bought 2 bows from him, a Matthews conquest 2, and a Matthews drenalin ld. The conquest wasn't camo so I sold it to my friend and bought the drenalin. I love it and only payed 300 for it fully rigged out.
