What do you guys use while duck hunting or other cold weather bird hunting? Looking for something warm that offers good trigger feel.

I've yet to find anything worth a damn and I'm starting to believe it's unattainable... I got a couple pairs of thinsulate liner gloves from work and cut the thumb and index down just above the knuckle.

Hot hands in pockets are usually my go to when it's miserable, partially because I hate the way my call sounds through gloves, and gloves always seem to get caught in the mag port.

Fingerless, wool gloves. Started using them this season after someone I hunted with last year swore by them. I am a HUGE proponent. They keep the hands warm and the fingers accessible. Best part for duck hunting is that they stay warm even when wet due to their material (85% wool, 15% acrylic). Easy to clean too. I just throw them in the washer with my hunting gear and let them air dry.

Here are the ones I bought: Jacob Ash® Hot Shot® Ragg Wool Fingerless Gloves - $8

You could even dye them if you really wanted to, but they're a light tan/brown when you actually get them so I have never found that to be an issue. Will definitely be using them fishing this spring in colder weather too. The only issue I have so far is that they attract burrs.

I have a pair of Stearns neoprene gloves I use for winter fly fishing. The thumb and first two fingers have splits. My hands stay fairly warm whether wet or dry.
