I beg to differ... I don't need to sleep on a bed of pinecones and freeze my cock off to feel like a man, brah. Anything away from my tempur-pedid is camping imo.
I agree with you there Gravy. Some of my friends scoff at my 5th wheel as not roughing it. Who says you have to give up comfort to enjoy the outdoors.

This is the place that opened up not too long ago huh? I remember seeing it on d news.
Yeah we have two new ones in the state. Bogue Chitto between Folsom and Franklinton and Palmetto down below Lafayette. Bogue Chitto is huge but I didn't get to explore too much due to the little ones.

Hell yeah, It was cool when I was 18 to go out there and "rough it" but nowadays... frick that... On my days off of work, I want to relax, not go around sleeping on branches and tracking down armadillos for food. My idea of camping is sleeping in a good bed, cooking good food, sitting by a fire with friends, listening to good music, and getting smashed.

I did go to Fausse point and it was pretty good. If you have a boat it would be great don't know what the cabins were like though. You are right in the swamp there. The little ones enjoyed the splashpad.
It isn't as big as some of the other parks are; just depends on how much hiking/bike riding you like to do.
