There ain't no easy way that I am aware of to drop a 6 foot tall, dried up christmas tree over the side of a boat with a bucket of concrete attached to the base....its damned hard work but it is worth the effort in my experience. If you can find someone with a pontoon boat its a lot easier and you can set a bunch of them....but it is still messy and will usually result in at least some damage....
I have one of those mini pontoon boats with a 15 Yamaha long shaft. I removed the port rails and built a wooden three by five foot platform ad connected it to the boat with hinges. I lay the whole bundle on its side and then drop them like depth charges. Works well but boat is slow. For the bamboo I cinch the tops with a strap and clip and put them on doubled up tarps on the bottom of my 23 foot Avalon Tritoon. I pick them up and cradle them to edge of boat, uncinch and drop. I have the process down. No dropping from the ZX 250.
