OK I was exaggerating a little on 30 minutes but there was literally thousands of them in a school. As soon as your hook hit the water you had one caught. We definitely caught at least 100 that day with 4 Ling. One hooked a big bull shark and fought it awhile but it eventually got loose.
I don't know how many red snapper I've caught with just string and a 2 hooks. That was easy.
