I always freeze it for a day, transfer to a grocery bag, start over. That way I just grab as many as I want and go

Back in the day it was 5 gal buckets as mentioned earlier. Always worked great and break up w ice pick. Now that i am up north and dont need nearly as much ice i use 1 gal buckets. No sense making it harder or more expensive than it has to be.

With a freezer thermometer. It would stay between 0-10degrees. I imagine the ice is that cold.

That “ SloMelt” ice is put onto pallets and into a drive in freezer. Same concept.

Use bread loaf containers. Run water around the container and it’ll drop out.

Beware of putting too much ice containers in a freezer with other foods or ice cream. Or the temp will increase / melt or unfreeze xxx
