re: Knock off thread... strangest thing you have seen or heard.

I was sitting on the stand late one afternoon and heard something coming that sounded like a damn elephant coming through the brush. It was getting kinda dark and I could barely make it out. I thought it was a hog at first. After I looked through my scope it was the biggest damn snapping turtle I’ve ever seen in my life.

Also there’s nothing like scaring up a covey of woodcock walking to the stand before daylight. They’ll scare the shite out of you.
