6.7 may be good but its only been out what 2.5 years now. Most people havent hit the high mileage mark to see what the problems will be

That being said, i think it is much better than the previous two. But if i could drop a 7.3 in my truck id do it quick

Again, these problems are over 5 years old. They do not have too much to do with current engines.

FWIW, the 2013/14 Ram 3500's will be able to tow 30,000...if you really need that much capability lol.

Thats stupid. I mean thats awesome but that amount is stupid. At what weight do you need a CDL?

One of our company trucks (6.7) has 267xxx nothing other than normal matainence. Small sample size, but its made me a believer. A 6.0 fricked us hard without lube.

The 6.4 came before the 6.7 and was a fine engine. And there are lots and I do mean lots of high mileage 6.7s. One of the favorites for hot shot drivers.

I have a 02 7.3 . Kind of scared of 6.4. I know that 6.6 is tried and true. 6.4 DRINKS fuel. I will be keeping 7.3

Yeah it's a nice truck. On par with F series interiors finally. They did a refresh that allows for the 8.4" touchscreen which is supposed to be the best infotainment unit on the market.

If you want a cool/crazy truck, google the Ram Long Hauler concept. They might actually produce it, batshit crazy.

I had the Dodge 5.9 and 6.7. 5.9 was great but 6.7was gonna get lemon lawed if it hadn't been sold. I hate Dodge interiors.

I do not do hot shot myself. My dad and his two bothers do/did though. Two of them ran the 6.0 while one ran the 5.9. They had problems but spent the money to avoid the big problems. My dad no longer hot shots but drives a 6.7 ford and so does one uncle. The other uncle drives a 6.7 Ram and is about to switch to the 6.7 Ford.

That may be confusing but I hope not. They have been doing it for longer than I can remember and they have ran them all. For the most part, they all go back to Ford.

My cousin has a hot shot service. I mess with it a little on the side. We got fricked hard with a 6.0, have several 7.3s. Had a 5.9 that was great. Now we have a 6.7 with 267xxx. Many hot shot guys love the 6.7.

Interiors have historically sucked huge balls, but the new ones are nice. This is a 2013:

My dad has gotten out of the business but two of my uncles still run short loads. They have had almost every diesel made but still go back to the Fords. They may be dumb for doing so but each one of those men have decades of experience that I do not have, let along three of them. My dad and uncle love their 6.7. Ive driven it but havent had the chance to hook it up to anything worthwhile yet.
