One of our dogs had mast cell tumors on two different occasions, two different spots. Surgery, clean margins, good to go. Good luck

My old boy (Boxer) has been gone 12 years. He had a spot about the size of a tennis ball removed that was cancerous. He lived another 6 years or so before he passed from old age. Hang in there Man.

Yea, the more I read into it (with a clear head now), the more I realize that this is a 50/50 type deal as far as a long term prognosis goes

I didn’t mean to ‘dear facebook’ you guys, and I wasn’t trying to be over-dramatic... but when you hear the big C word, and it involves someone you really care about, it shakes you up big time

As crazy as it sounds, I’d really like to get a boxer puppy right now. I’m a big believer in the fact that younger dogs learn a hell of a lot from older dogs, and my current boxer has been a GREAT dog temprament wise

The only thing stopping me really is the fact that we have a newborn at the house, so shite’s been real hectic lately
