Joyce WMA duck hunting

I apologize if this has been discussed a hundred times before - also forgive my laziness for not searching - but any waterfowl tips for Joyce would be much appreciated. I've been a couple times before in recent years, but this would be my first and only hunt this year (I work out of state and will be home this weekend). I'm familiar with the LDWF map and the general layout of the wma (i.e., the marsh and canals off I-55). I'm only interested in shooting a few woodies. Actually I'm probably more interested in getting away from the crowd and just enjoying the outdoors - so I guess my question is, in order of importance, where would be best option for 1) being along 2) shooting a woodie?
Thanks in advance

I have never heard of anyone having success there. I made 2 hunts there during the 3 duck days when pressure was very light...
there were very very few ducks.. despite many ducky looking spots.

First split and real season were ok in Joyce, second split has been awful. There are no birds. I'm sure there are a few holes with woodies, but if you hunt the popular areas, you will have a hard time killing any.
