Have gotten several coyotes on my cameras every night this week usually around 9-9:30

Saw one. It was a long shot 300+ yds. Not sure if I hit it or not. To get closer I would have had to cross the dam on my lake and the moon was really bright and I thought it would see me. So I tried the shot.
It ran to the right and stopped and I got another shot. I thought I heard it hit but no way to say for sure.
