Got here about 3. Wind dying off. Got one hammer to shoot. Had every chance in the world. Just timing been off. Freezer full. No pressure. Bass fishing in venice is full force, and I’m heading back Thursday. Time to fish.

What an afternoon. Seems like it’s finally on. Saw a lot of flirting, more deer than I’ve seen in 3 days. Highlight was a 3 1/2 year old 6 pt very full of himself working over some Privet with his horns scraping, rubbing and chewing, then digging out a scrape and pissing in it. In all my year of hunting, my first time seeing it live, 100 yards away. Then he kicked his heels up and hopped away. Made my week.
