I actually killed a thanksgiving buck one year.

Opening day here. Sitting in ground blind with daughter between thicket and young pines with a food plot. Saw 5 does early. Waiting for 8pt that’s been hanging around. Good luck everyone and happy thanksgiving

Ground blind on edge of old logging road
Lots of deer here. antler restrictions however, minimum 13 inch spread on all bucks.
camera shows lots of big deer, couple of 20+ inchers
gonna sit till 9ish, nasty wind and rain headed my way.

My son killed the biggest buck of his life one year ago today. We are in a box stand together watching it rain. Button buck and a doe so far.

Finally got a doe this morning sitting in the same stand I've been in for 4 days. Walked out on top of me. 30 yard shot and the ole creedmoor hit her right through the heart. No dogs required.
