Who can I get to install some flood lights? I don't have an issue with hanging them but I want to run some switches to be able to turn them on and off. I'm the worst when it comes to electrical work so looking to hire someone to pull the wire and add switches.

How old is the house? Some of those super old houses can have some very screwy wiring. I did some outlet and switch replacements on a house recently with quiet mercury switches and no grounds on any of the outlets - only a hot and ground. Even though all the breakers were turned off it was still nerve-racking.

Also, some older houses will have the hot feed to the light rather than to the switch, meaning, even when the switch is off the hot at the light is still live.

Old houses can be tricky.

EDIT: If you're unsure how old your house is, look inside your toilets (if they're original) to find a date or open the door to your attic and look for a date.
