Does your windshield open all the way with that lightbar mount?
Negative, i bought a gen 2 windshield. So it's a pop out instead of a flip up.
I actually have the handle screwed shut though.
I would never ride with it flipped up or out. They tend to hulk smash into the dash after a while.

lingering clutch and CVT issues. I am told those (and some sensor issues) have been addressed
I know I'm late, but, post 2021 supposedly has a 6000mi service interval on the clutch which is waaay beyond the younger years. I have a 21 and love it, no issues yet. Has a little higher stall on take off but I prefer it that way, more positive engagement.
Other than that, I can confirm honda 1000 is a hot mfer and doesn't really care for long slow speed duties. I know you aren't looking at those though.
As for canam brp, I agree with x. They will run like an ape until they don't or won't, and then look at the price of parts

Every time you do an oil change, take 10 minutes and blow the dust out of the clutch area with an air compressor.
My 900 was way over 15k miles and the clutches were still silent.
That was the only service they ever really got.

If it were me, I’d go Can-am
Five had two Hondas and two Polaris. I carry no brand loyalty on either. Hondas ATVs were great just under sized.
Polaris has been great engines but terrible axles and cheap in the details.

My buddy has one at his camp, it's the kuboto crew deisel...top end is 24 mph. Pulls like a mofo though. The bike gets worked hard every day. So if speed isn't important to you, it's a great machine. Just keep in mind that it is a very heavy unit like another poster said.
