I don't get out there nearly enough. I can count on my hands (and maybe a foot) the number of times I've been saltwater fishing. Freshwater fishing is fun, but saltwater is a whole different ball game. I want to do it more but have neither a boat capable of it nor the experience to know where to start.

I can barely fresh water fish any more im so spoiled with saltwater. You would be suprised what kind of boat you can use in protected waters. A lot of areas arent as confusing once you are out there instead of looking at them on a map

Well, I'm hoping my parents close the deal on a lot on Southern Comfort in Dulac and start building soon (which is the plan), then I'll literally have it in my backyard and will hit you up for a weekend trip. For the time being, I have good friends who always need fishing partners and bring me along almost every weekend.

you need a father in law like mine, he buys the boats and just makes me an extra key

Saltwater caused a few problems in our last small boat (and the motor we're still running) so when we finished working on the Cajun special my dad said no saltwater for this one. His plan is to get a bay boat, but it'll be a while. Used to borrow my pawpaws boat but it's been broken down for a while now.

Im thinking this might actually happen, I think he just wants to see if I was serious about going halfsies. He wants grandkids so maybe I can hold that over his head. I have free reign over his boat right now but we are ready for a new one

My eyes are burning from staring at, and reading iBoats for several hours. I need to clear my history so I seem like a normal, sane person.

Guns, guns and boats. Oh and ATV`s, If I came into a bunch of money it would be spent on outdoor toys no doubt!
