re: How was your duck season?

Mine was dysfunctional...

this year was my 45th in Venice and I made 4 hunts they were all disappointing it really bums me out to have the certain realization that my boys will NEVER see ducks down there like I did. A part of me is there and I can't leave it but it's over down there.

My place in the South MS delta saved us this year, we had water and our plantings did relatively well we managed to kill a lot of wood ducks and the last month about 50 mallards with a few teal and gray ducks, it was a lot of fun and so easy. Not sure how many ducks we killed but plenty enough to get my dog some work which was very welcome and had a great time.
