Beavers are persistent - you have to be more persistent. A flashlight/spotlight and a shotgun will suffice for hunting, add in a few 330 conibears for the hard-headed ones.

update.. went down there this afternoon looks like they said screw it or they are some lazy beavers it looked about the
same as i left it yesterday.
