How much should I offer for this camper shell?

For my taco. It's already color matched and has the roof racks for my kayak.

They retail for around 2400 new. Add cost to paint and the racks are around 300 to add. I don't really need it but have wanted one since going back to traveling so much for work. Thoughts?

that looks damn good...I would offer him $1K and plan to go up to $1300 or so. If he stands firm, you can always give him his asking price and still come out well.

That's kinda what I'm thinking. He's had for sale for a month. Not really a sellers market for these things. Want to be able to strap my yak and have it with me on trips. Plus some primitive camping gear

Sheeze those things have gone up in price. I paid $600 for a brand new Leer camper top in 1995 for my 1992 Dodge Dakota with a 6.5ft bed. Nuts!
