How many of you baws are tech savvy and can 3D print AR lowers?

Been watching Hoffman Tactical and Print Shoot Repeat lately. Hoffman Tactical has got to have the most sleek/ergonomic design for a lower. He uses a hose clamp design to reinforce the buffer tower. It sends the loads/forces back down to the main part of the receiver to limit failure.
Print Shoot Repeat review his .308 lower 10.5" PISTOL Build (he mag dumps it at one point
)

Hoffman also has an AR-9 and AR-15 lowers. He has two designs for the AR-15 I believe. One that fits your basic mil-spec upper with forward assist. It has a rib rail along the left side the supports the buffer tower. His other lower has a double rail/rib that fits side charging uppers similar to the ones from Bear Creek Arsenal.
Not sure how Chicken feels about sharing firearm download links, but if you know how to Google, I'm sure you can find them pretty easily.
Hoffman also does the "push-up test" for every new design he comes up with to see how strong it is. Plenty of videos on his channel for filament types (the types of plastic used in 3D printing).

Someone did in Houston.
Houston man sells dozens of 3D-printed guns at city's first gun buyback. LINK
The man, who wished to remain anonymous, said he wanted to "send [Houston leaders] a message" about the city using taxpayer money for programs aimed at curbing gun violence.

There are way more beneficial designs out there, like a semi automatic 9mm carbine that can be made with entirely 3d printed parts and some hardware store finds.
I have printed some lowers, but never used them. Just to see if I could.
The most useful designs are things like the very effective one off suppressors and the jigs to convert existing firearms to select fire.

You can make some very stout designs with a 3d printer. Most designs are using a metal chamber and barrel, however most often it is made from pipe. Nylon filament is very strong and holds up to thousands of rounds.

What kind of forces on the lower are you worried about?

Compressed gas cylinders have been made using nothing but nylon filament, and resin that are rated at thousands of PSI.
