How long is the wait when you order a backordered can on silencershop.com

Assume it's all dependent upon the manufacturer and how fast they can make cans to fill the backorders. The Polo 30 is like one of the most popular cans on the market and they're not a gigantic manufacturer like a B&T, SureFire, etc.

Traditional baffle cans also take longer to make versus the newer 3d printed ones.

I would kind of just forget about it for a while and be plewsently surprised when they come in, but yeah, 2-3 months is what I would think is reasonable expectation.

Buddy of mine ordered a backordered item off SShop and it was back in stock in like a week. That was a 3d printed one though. Think maybe a Dead air.

So..i just found out on the OC poloniums .. there are 1100 backordered and 400 shipping soon. Problem is those 400 have said “shipping soon” since december. One of the main builders at OC passed away and it may be months before they get caught up.

I was only back ordered for a Dead Air NomadL for about 4 weeks. Still waiting on approval of the form though. There was some kind of glitch on the government form website.

It's pure speculation and your guess is as good as anyone's. Otter Creek cans are very popular right now. I recently bought their Polonium 5.56, but I waited until I found it in stock. Best price was at "Joe Bob's." Purchase and eForm application went well. It arrived at the LGS <7 days and was approved 12 days after submission. The questions only you can answer: How long are you willing to wait for what you want? Would you be just as happy w/ someone else's can that's in stock??
