Gents, 1st time fishing out of Hopedale this Friday.
Besides the rockwall, are there any general spots/strategies to try? Try the shore line in Lena Lagoon? Lake Borne? Run into the marsh and try some of the bays (Halfmoon, etc)?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Give stump lagoon and mussel bay a try. Did well there last weekend

Appreciate the tip. Would you suggest drifting (are there reefs?), or working the shoreline to start?

Put the trolling motor down and drift around till you find them. Stay on the bite till it slows then keep moving. We did most of our damage a little further away from the shorelines about 18 inches under the cork with plastics. Live bait probably worth a shot given the warm up

There are some oyster reefs near the area, but we didn't have much luck near the 1 or two we tried

Adupy, go drift Lena towards the back or find clean water back there and drift. You should be able to find some trout back there. Over by the castle in shell beach has trout too, but you have to pick through a lot of throwbacks, but they are there.
