I am looking to get a small motor for my sneak boat. The Honda is $200 more. Worth the extra money? Both are 4 strokes.

Thanks in advance.

ETA: Just saw this was discussed not too long ago

Thanks. I have an electric motor but want to have a gas option for long distances on the water

i've put 12 rounds through it. i love it. not sure if i told you but i had to have it retimed because it had that slow cock lock up issue. bob cogan did it for me. he's within driving distance for me so it seemed like a no brainer. he rewelded some extra steel to the end of the hand and refiled/repolished. cycles like a new gun now. only $85.

Good deal, glad you are liking the gun.

Next you need to get a Single Action Army haha.

I ended up with suzuki. I haven't had it long enough to give a reliable review. One complaint is it is kinda loud and vibrates like a mofo. It is louder than my previous 2stroke 7.5 Gamefisher. And definitely more vibration.

Either it's because Im still in Break-in, or because that's the price you pay for the lighter weight design and lower cost.

Another complaint is the depth of the mounting bracket could be an inch deeper. It barely clings to my transom.

It does push the boat really good though.

Eta- Last Coco says his purrs like a kitten, so hopefully just needs more breakin.

About how far from the motor is your seat?

Too far. Wasnt a problem with my old 7.5.

If it was just like 3 inches longer it would not be an issue. Those missing 3 inches hurt me.
