This --- and the OP will be better off with #1 buckshot in both barrels. Slugs are more useful for long range (50-100) yards target engagement or for barrier penetartion.

This. Unfortunately I have seen what low-brass 6 shot does to a human from <10 feet. You don't really want to get shot from anything in the same room.
