If anyone is serious about controlling hogs, invest in a cellular electronic corral trap with rigid panels which can be set up by 1 person in 30-45 min. The most important step in catching whole sounders is to bait them before you build the trap. Put a camera on bait and scout size and composition of sounder. When they’ve come in at least 4 days in a row, then build the trap around the bait and don’t drop gate until all the pigs are in. If gate is dropped on a partial sounder, the pigs outside become educated and trap shy.
I’m dealer in LA/MS for Jager Pro since I retired from
career in 2017 and have been catching pigs for a long damn time. Over 1300 on my place since I bought my first Jager Pro trap in 2012 and they’re still filing in as fast as I catch them. Hate them sobs with a passion.
This is the way......we do the same thing with the HogEye camera system...Trapped 350 in the last 3 years. We usually wipe them out before deer season then they return in Feburary
