Hickok has barely posted any videos for about the past year or so. Seems like he's basically semi-retired already.
I noticed that he doesn't say the ammo was supplied by Federal for a while now, too. That may be why he doesn't release as many videos.
He also seems to review new guns way longer out than others. I also get the feeling he shoots a ton of videos in the winter and fall and kind of takes the summers off, likely because it's so hot and his range gets so overgrown.
Just some observations that may or may not be anything to them.

That guy likely makes plenty of money to supply his own, plenty of people can give him free stuff to show off still. That’s really no different is it?
I mean he’s not allowed to show an unboxing video or shoot a new gun?
Ammo shouldn’t be a major cost to his videos, most of them he only shoots 100-200 rounds or so. That’s like $200 for a video that makes $1000s most likely
ETA: sheeet, 7.8 mil subscribers now. Didn’t realize he was that big. lol, guys not worried about ammo or any other costs at this point to shoot a $1000 gun 500 rounds or less a week
