Hemp rope & scents

Curious if any of y’all have tried hanging hemp rope and using scents. Similar to making mock scrapes. Supposably proven to be effective and I’ve been down the rabbit hole already. Basically you’re making a year round check in spot. If so, I’d like to hear what’s worked for you.

Has worked for decades, nothing new really. Kinda like the "new" saddle hunting fad. It was popular in the mid 90's and made a comeback.
We use 1" cotton rope and it's just as effective.

Not saying it’s a new trend. Just curious if anyone here has done it with success and maybe what scents worked and didn’t.

I have 3 out and have not seen any activity on them. I bought the commercial one (forget the name).

Been doing it for years. Don't need a rope. Find you a piece of large grape vine and tie it up in the location.

We make mock scrapes all the time. Haven’t tried rope yet.
We also use Rookem juice year round on them. Come rut we switch to Cooter Juice
