I own a litte old 32 S&W revolver...and it is perfect! It fits in my purse, easy to load, nothing fancy! No kick...and straight as an arrow, or maybe I'm just a good shot! hahaha
I don't like any of the ruger type guns...they scare me! and the point in having a gun is scaring someone else!!!! If I have to use it...there is only One side of the story!!

She could never get it loaded, as she simply did not have the strength to get the slide back.

This is the reason that I will not use the gun my hubby brought home....I hate a slide! and I can't get the dang thing loaded, without feeling it's going to jam or go off!! So, I personally think a revolver is the best bet! I luv my little 32! If you can shoot straight...a 32 will do the job.

Well she looked at every gun in lafayette and made her pick, I was impressed. Sig p238. Very solid little gun, we'll probably go pick it up tomorrow. All of the revolvers had too heavy of a trigger pull for her.

I own this gun and carry it daily. She just has to get comfortable with a cocking the hammer and working the safety, I have shot a few hundred rounds thru mine and no issues.
