There is a gun show in Kenner this weekend.
Has anybody been to one in the last few months?
I'm thinking of going to look around, not really looking for anything, just to kill some time this afternoon.

I quit going to them two years ago. Everything worth a damn is way overpriced. It’s mostly trinkets and beef jerky booths. Not worth the time. You would do better surfing the internet for deals.

That's disappointing. Was gonna take my dad tomorrow as he expressed interest. Still 10 bucks?

Probably going to be beyond packed with the recent gun buying frenzy.

Beef jerky, dream catchers, and over priced Taurus pistols

Unfortunately, he's right. Gunshows used to be a great place to go for great deals on guns and ammo. Ever since the Dems threats on guns during the Obama administration the prices on the high demand items (guns and ammo) have been no better and sometimes more than if you just went to a retail store and purchased.

Your only chance these days at getting a good deal is if you find another show attendant that's walking around looking to sell his personal guns and you do a "parking lot" deal.
