Worked on truck instead. We may go tomorrow. But I started looking into the salinity levels and they have fallen hard last 24 hours for our whole coast. Was at 25 yesterday now down to 19

Think I’m gonna go next week during the week maybe Tuesday-Friday.
I haven’t been out the house hardly in 2.5 months with the newborn and this quarantine shite. I’m dying.

What do y’all think the conditions will be like starting Saturday the 30th till Tuesday or Wednesday? How long does it take for the water to clear up and stuff after a week of storms?

It was overnight this past week. Chocolate milk one day and crystal clear the next. The good water is usually just offshore. River is falling so it should get right quickly with right conditions.

Last Thursday was the prettiest water I have ever seen in grand isle and I’ve been going there for 30 years. It was almost too pretty in the afternoon, it was almost blue

I’m thinking about hitting the beaches and surf fishing at Elmers. Is it a south wind or north wind that’s good?

What you want is a week of south southeast wind to bring in the good salty water from offshore and then a morning with light winds out the north to knock down the waves

Id argue any report of it laying down as Bs. I didnt fish cuz it was blowing 17 at 6 am. Went to beach to run at 8, still blowing and surf was choppy and muddy. At no point did it lay down

bump, for another beautiful, smoother surf morning...trout should be on fire...I'm sure when I get down towards the end of June it will be gale force winds and choppy surf.
