Did you ever get any info back about the banded Royal Tern that you snapped a photo of?

Bruh…no one cares.

I don’t even target pythons - I never slowly drive the shoulder spotlighting the tree line like the “python hunters”. I hike and road-cruise for the native species and if a python crosses my path, I’ll catch it. In my 7 or 8 trips here I’ve caught over 600 snakes - 2 have been pythons.

You’re taking this way too seriously.

Read the room.

This is what I don't understand. They're invasive. They're decimating native wildlife. I don't understand why there is no open season enabling everyone to kill each python they encounter, whether it's killed with a shovel or a shotgun blast to the head. To heck with this "humane" kill only. Kill them all, by any method, wherever you find them. These rules make me believe Florida really isn't that serious or truthful about wanting them eliminated from the environment.

This was my opinion when I lived in South Florida.

damnit, quit being nice to me

I don't believe that I did. I definitely made the report though.

I reported a dead gulf sturgeon that I came across that was washed up on the beach in Perdido Key a few months back, and they did get back to me, and they even sent me some "save the gulf sturgeon" stickers as a thank you.

What a bitch you are!
You post nonsense like its fact and then try to argue that it's correct by saying

My info actually came from people who have applied to be contractors

When I've made it clear that you don't know what the frick you're talking about, you say

Bruh…no one cares.

Keep crawfishin, clown!

I don't give a shite what you target. You can target a big bag of dicks!

Turns out, you're both.
Choose to remain ignorant! Your facebook friends are probably all too damn dumb to know the difference anyway!
Good luck, bub!

Your pics never disappoint! Great shots! I am glad those giant snakes haven't made it over here to Folsom. Would love to see some of the others you had checked out.

122 snakes/23 species this trip, and multiple pics of each, so it’ll take me a while to sort through them, but I’ll put together a full post in a few days.

Here are a few teasers though (all are cell phone pics at night - I need a better camera)…

Scarlet kingsnake…

Tiny scarlet snake eating a lizard egg…

Everglades rat snake…

Glad that big one got turned in. I don't have anything against you personally but I did think it was a bit bad that previously you let the pythons go.

Man those python hunters sure seem to not get much. You'd think a 13 footer would bring more money. Hardly enough to cover fuel costs.

I'll stick to selling moss for 10 bucks a pound lol

That is awesome. How do they euthanize them? Just a round to the head or do they require something else?

Yep - it’s supposed to be humane. If you’re on private land or I guess somewhere it’s okay to fire a gun, you can choot’em. I’ve heard some use nail guns. Or by mechanical means you must first render them unconscious then pith the brain.

ETA: But don’t take my word for it…I’m not a MENSA-qualified retired doctor, I’m an ignorant idiot a-hole who can’t read and spreads bullshite - just ask WTF!

I wanted to post a "no country for old men" meme, but opted to let shooting it ride. I struggle to view decapitation as non humane, especially for an extremely invasive species... but fwc and our legislators disagree. I live north of the Ocala national forest, so relatively out of range, currently, but I just can't see local law enforcement folks giving 2 fricks, unless you were at Camp Blanding or something.
