Sure.
I prefer a shorter barrel. I don't conceal mine, but I do carry it around my properties. It's more comfortable for that, especially when I'm in a vehicle. I know you said you weren't planning to carry it, but if the difference between the two is negligible for you, I'd go with the 45 in case you change your mind.
I also shoot my 45 quicker. The shorter sight radius is probably the reason as it should be quicker to line them back up. It also has less mass to cycle after every round. That could just be Glock pseudoscience, but it's also my impression after thousands of rounds through both.
The last reason is the most subjective. I just prefer the way it looks. My 19x is my favorite pistol that isn't a flavor of 1911, but the 45 is right up there.
Bottom line, I like both and think you'd be happy with either. Even better, be happy with both.

Right on, think I may go with the 45 up front. No telling what all I'll end up with.
