Just bought my first one and put it out Monday. How long do y’all go before you check them?

at least one week.. really best if you can wait 2. But if you are going down anyway once a week and feeding or hunting or whatever, wont hurt to swap cards. Just dont be down there every day leaving scent

We run about 15 right now more during the offseason closer to 30. We check them every Wednesday or Thursday midday to mid afternoon as we feed. We are in and out of the area quick and just swap SD cards feed and move on. We do the downloading at home. Our cards are pre marked as to what camera they are for. We do take extra cards in and batteries. Keeping in a rhythm every week has had zero effect on deer movement and our ability to pattern them. Yes we have ran deer off as we approach areas and 90% of the time they are back within 30 minutes of us leaving. If they want to be there they will be.

I usually check once a week after my morning hunt. I'll make the rounds filling up the feeders and spreading corn at stands that don't have feeders. While I'm in the area I'll pull the cards and replace with new card. Gives me a way to be productive and burn time between morning and evening sits.

Will depend on how far you live from them. I live 5 min from mine and I check it every 5-7 days unless I see all the corn gone (when baiting). I will change the card out when adding fresh bait. I hunted a hour away before and checked them every weekend that I went.

Get one that sends the pics to your phone and you don’t have to go check it at all.
