For those that live in states with background checks for ammo…

Does that mean if I go to the range, and they sell ammo, every time I go and re-up at the counter I need to pass a background check? How do you have it shipped to you? Through an FFL?

There’s a clay range we go to regularly and we usually buy ammo every 2 or so games. Seems like hell to have to do full background checks for that. Terrified my state may implement this in the next few years.
