Hadn't fished it in years and was looking for some recs as to some productive areas.

Does anyone know about the "Ballpark"?
Thanks

The water is too low now to get in the ball park

Went yesterday and saw a good bit of boats fishing Batchelor slough, water was just right for getting back there. Looks like its coming up 2 feet this week though

Bachelor slew is across from landing then go left. You can't miss it. If water is rising I wouldn't even go.

Water is starting to rise again which has slowed down the bite. You can still catch sacaulait off the floating docks but they're deep.

Bream bit has been better than sacaulait bite.

Bump crank baits off cypress trees between old river and Peggy Ds landing on opposite side. Fish the big points on batchelor slough and alligator point deep with crankbaits or soft plastics. Then fish the ends of the deepest piers.

Haven't bass fished it this year but those are my go tos this time of year out there.

Where is old river? I am wondering if this is the same place I fished a couple of times in college.

Not to worry. If you see my reports on here you will see that I never catch shite no matter where I fish.
