Did you fish the bay side or gulf side?

I fished both sides, but had the most action on the bay side.
I walked around the back of the fort to the gulf side but didnt really get into anything.
I started pulling them in every cast on the bay side and boats were swarming me trying to throw in the same spot, I felt like I was standing in front of a firing line after a while.

For Florida waters, State waters: Closed; Season opens Saturday before Memorial Day (May 23, 2015) through July 14.
I think Alabama is sticking to the Fed regs. Not sure on that one, cant find it.
